Someone Else´s Baby
like each person is a brick and the lies are the putty.(kitta, spackla)

and the present is swinging all around you .(svängig)

i dont bother with anything else. (bråk)

her eyes would shine like stars and we´d gaze . (stirra)

im not exactly fantastically interesting either .(antigen, varken)

and the salary isn´t bad . (lön)

i mean worrying about things is really useless .(besvärande) (värdelös)

i was up in court. (domstol)

three labradors in london is ridiculous. (löjlig)

dad was furious. (ursinig )

you´re not on the quarter deck now.(stycka)

he says all heavy and sarcastic .(spydig)

i say to fran and penny in the canteen.(lunchrum)

but this is an amargency.(nödsituation)

says dad and he really berserks then. (bärsärk)


when i started to read the book i noticed that the book was interesting. it begun with a story that happend with most of the girls its why a liked the book and keep to read it.

"The lies are the putty between people" means that it's the lies that make people stick together. Putty = "murbruk" in this case.

is swinging = snurrar runt

I don't bother means that I will not worry about doing something

worrying, in this case: to worry = att oroa sig för något

"you're not on the quarter deck now" is an expression that means you are not the one who is in charge of the situation. You are not in command. (Swedish: du sitter inte i förarsätet, dvs du är inte den som bestämmer nu).
