Locked in Time: Reading schedule and tasks Thursday, November 20, 2008

For those of you who are reading the novel Locked in Time, here is what you need to do. There are 19 chapters total in your book. You need to finish reading the whole novel by Wednesday, December 17 when there will be an in-class test.

Here is your reading schedule:
Chapter 1-5 by November 27
Chapter 6-10 by December 4
Chapter 11-15 by December 11
Chapter 16-19 by December 15

On each of the four dates above you need to post your own personal word list of words from the chapters you have read that you have looked up, and that you find useful to learn. Please type the whole sentence in which the word occurs, like this:
I know the statement sounds vain, but I hope it won't be taken that way (fåfäng/t).

Here is an online dictionary called Lexin to help you.

Along with your word list you need to post at least one quote that caught your attention somehow. Type the quote in your post and explain why it caught your attention and what it tells you.

On Wednesday December 17 there will be an in-class test on your novel. Make sure you are able to answer questions on the vocabulary as well as on the content of the novel.
